Pilkington Med-X provides a high quality, transparent protective shield against x-ray radiation in medical, technical and research applications. It's high content of lead and barium gives optimum shielding against radiation energies generated by equipment operating in the 100-300kV range.

 Med-X shielding is supplied as polished plates up to a maximum size of 2550 x 1340mm (100.4" x 52.75"), the largest size available in the world. Smaller sizes can be cut to customer requirements and all cut edges are ground with safety chamfers. Different thickness' are available within the ranges listed and can be quoted upon request.
