McGrory Glass, Inc. is pleased to offer a full line of textured and acid-etched products which are manufactured throughout the world and stocked in our warehouse outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Because the glass is fabricated and shipped from our warehouse, we control all aspects of production and shipping to ensure that the glass arrives on time and in good condition.

Acid Etched Glass has become the product of choice for Designers and Architects to create a unique and sophisticated look without the high cost and long lead times of custom etched or fritted glass products, while at the same time offering an extremely durable product that does not need special treatment for maintenance and cleaning.

Project Spotlight

Hyatt Center - Chicago,Illinois
Architect:  Pei Cobb Freed & Partners
                   A. Epstein & Sons, International

Elevator Manufacturer:  H&B Elevators (Minneapolis, MN)

Working with the Interior Design firm of Pei Cobb McGrory Glass was able to produce 9/16" Decorative Laminated glass glass for 27 Elevator cabs and lobby wall partitions in the New Hyatt Center in Chicago. Though the design was tweaked on several occasions until the color and concept matched Pei Cobb's vision, McGrory was able to hold to the original budgeted pricing to help ensure the selected product made it to the final installation. The glass also covered the floor buttons (see left insert) and had to be water jet cut to tolerances of +0/- 1/64".
